Our Cookbook is finally Here!

October is “National Cookbook Month” so this is perfect timing to release our long awaited cookbook “Recipes in a Rush”. Our cookbook will be available for to purchase through our website on Monday, October 10th! Half of the proceeds will be donated to Connecticut Foodshare, an organization that distributes healthy, nutritious foods to hundreds of food pantries and community sites throughout Connecticut. “Recipes in a Rush” includes quick, delicious dishes that will tantalize your taste buds, burn body fat, and is perfect for busy individuals who are always on the go. With 82 scrumptious recipes, we have something for everyone and every occasion!

Air Fryer Onion Rings

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oat flour

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced and separated into rings

  • olive oil spray

    Directions:

    1. Combine flour and paprika in a shallow bowl.

    2. In a second bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Whisk in 1/4 cup of the flour mixture.

    3. In a third bowl, combine Panko and olive oil. Stir together.

    4. Dredge onion rings into flour mixture, then dip in milk mixture, and then dredge in Panko mixture.

    5. Set air fryer to 400°F for 12 minutes. Flip onion rings halfway through and spritz with olive oil spray.
